The work is not merely an exceptional taḥqīq; its first volume contains a wealth of pertinent discussions concerning al-Ḥākim and his al-Mustadrak. It also presents a significant theory proposed by Shaykh ʿAwwāmah in an unpublished article, which is published here for the first time. In addition, the author includes his master’s thesis, which focuses specifically on al-Ḥākim himself.

The muḥaqqiq also arrives at the conclusion that only 54 of the more than 8,000 aḥādīth contained in the work can be classified as mawḍūʿ. This provides an important perspective on the nature of the Mustadrak and its relationship to the extensive scholarly discussions surrounding it.

This edition is undoubtedly a significant contribution to the field of hadith, and particularly to the study and understanding of al-Ḥakim’s al-Mustadrak.

Author: Ḥakim al-Naysaburi
Publisher: Dar al-Minhaj

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0978/8493/0346/files/images_c3e67b14-9201-4582-9212-d22a99c386d1.jpg?v=1791364059
https://maktabahcpt.co.za/products/%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d8%b3%d8%aa%d8%af%d8%b1%d9%83-%d8%b9%d9%84%d9%89-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b5%d8%ad%d9%8a%d8%ad%d9%8a%d9%86-al-mustadrak
