الاقتصاد في الاعتقاد (Al-Iqtisad fi al-I'tiqad)

Al-Iqtisad fi al-Itiqad by Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (d. 505 AH) is a concise yet powerful work of Ashari theology, presenting a balanced approach between reason and revelation while addressing both literalist and rationalist extremes. Written around the time of al-Ghazali's spiritual turning point, it remains one of his key works in kalam. The text continues to be studied today, including in a full course taught by the respected Shaykh Hamza Bakri (available on YouTube).
