نيل الرجاء (Nayl al-Raja')

Written while the author, Ahmad ibn Umar al-Shatiri, was still in his
twenties, this work has become perhaps the most widely read sharh on
Safinat al-Naja today. The author shows particular care and attention
for concise fiqhi definitions, which serve as keys to accessing the more extensive works of fiqh such as Mughni al-Muhtaj and Tuhfat al-Muhtaj. He also carefully unpacks words in their lughawi sense before providing their fiqhi meaning within the context of the relevant bab. This edition, published by Dar al-Minhaj, is a hardcover print with valuable footnotes that reference important scholarly discussions. Since the original matn of Safinat al-Naja only covers up to Kitab al-Sawm, this edition supplements it by adding Kitab al-Hajj from Fath al-Qarib by Ibn Qasim al-Ghazzi.
