كتاب بر الوالدين (Kitab Birr al-Walidayn)

The Dar al-Fath edition brings together two invaluable treatises on filial piety—one by Taqi al-Din al-Subki and the other by his son, Taj al-Din al-Subki. Both works are rich with fawaid and profound moral insight. It is from this collection that Mufti Sabbir Ahmad Usmani remarked he found the best definition of uquq al-walidayn (disobedience to one's parents). This comes in addition to the excellent tahqiq and editorial effort that further enhances the value of the edition.
