مناقب الإمام الشافعي (Manaqib al-Imam al-Shafi'i)

Numerous scholars have authored works on the Manaqib of al-Imam al-Shafii, from Ibn Abi Hatim and al-Bayhaqi to Fakhr al-Din al-Razi. Yet the Manaqib of Abd al-Rauf al-Munawi stands out for its reliance on these earlier sources while offering clarification and reconciliation of various reports and inconsistencies. The Dar al-Samman edition is a distinguished contribution to this genre, featuring meticulous editing based on multiple manuscripts and presented with excellent scholarly care.
