الوجيز في أصول الفقه (Al-Wajiz fi Usul al-Fiqh)

Shaykh Hasan Hitu is among the foremost Shafii scholars of our time. In one of his lessons, he remarked that there is no book in usul al-fiqh, whether in manuscript form or in print, that he has not read. This statement reflects not only his scholarly breadth, but also his deep dedication to the discipline. Among his many contributions is al-Wajiz, a work designed for intermediate students who wish to engage with usul at a deeper level. Written in a modern and accessible style, al-Wajiz avoids overly convoluted or excessively technical terminology, making the subject matter both clear and approachable without compromising scholarly rigor.
